Common questions
I forgot my password
In the sign-in window, click Forgot your password? and enter your username or email address. We'll email you a 6-digit code; enter it, and choose a new password.
How do I add my friends?
Click Friends at the top, then Add friend, and enter their username. No account yet? Use Invite friends there to send them your link or code. You can also turn on Discover to meet other people on Snakkes.
How do I change my display picture?
Click your picture at the top of your contact list. Pick one of the ready-made pictures, or upload a photo of your own, and click Use picture.
How do I update Snakkes?
Snakkes updates itself when it starts, if there's a new version. If one comes out while Snakkes is open, it tells you and updates in a moment. You can also update from the link at the bottom of the sign-in window, or check in Settings → Updates.
Someone is bothering me
Right-click them in your contact list and choose Edit friend. There you can Report them to our moderators (they won't know it was you) and Block them, so they can't contact you. You decide what friends can send you in Settings → Privacy.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Your data is erased right away; only your username stays reserved, so nobody can take it. Read more in our privacy policy.
